Jamie Faye Fenton (born Jay Fenton) is a game programmer. She is known for being the programmer of the 1981 hit arcade game, Gorf, before she transitioned from male to female around 1998.[1] The community of transgendered people is a place where Jamie has been active.[1] During Jamie's school days, computer technology provided a safe haven from being picked on by other students, and the highly predictable nature of computer technology had an appeal to Jamie in that regard.[1]
She is also one of the creators of MacroMind's VideoWorks software for the Apple Macintosh, which is known today as Macromedia Director.
